Thursday team members Matt, Ron,Sandy and Karen had just passed marker #9 when we spotted the tracks. That makes nest #6. After Steve and Barbara picked up our other team members we took turns probing trying to find her nest. The fox had been by the nest already but just left his foot prints behind. When probing wasn't turning up anything we were beginning to think it may be a false crawl but Bob found the nest and spotted a few eggs. She nested right against the dunes with the high tide mark very close by. The nest was protected and marked with the help of all 9 volunteers,Barbara and Steve.
